Jesper M. Johansson is an Assistant Professor in the MIS department at Boston University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, a Masters of Science in Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration, from the University of Maryland. His primary research interests are in the areas of information systems security and administration; and IT infrastructure design, especially the underlying networking and database designs. He teaches networking and network security at Boston University. He also edits the SANS Windows Security Digest, a monthly newsletter of important issues facing administrators of Windows networks. He has 12 years of experience in system administration and holds several professional certifications on Microsoft products, including the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet certifications.
